Louis vuitton elevates formula 1 trophies with bespoke trunks
In a move that perfectly merges luxury with motorsport, Louis Vuitton has unveiled bespoke trunks for the trophies awarded at Formula 1 Grand Prix races. This ten-year partnership sees the iconic fashion house craft unique, Monogram canvas-clad containers for the coveted prizes.

A full circle moment
This collaboration is a fitting tribute to the brand's history. The first 'auto-trunks' were designed by Georges Vuitton, son of Louis, in the early 20th century. These trunks were strapped to the backs of cars and featured an early version of the Monogram pattern.
Today, the trunks and their precious contents travel inside the car or private jet, still swathed in the signature canvas. Each trunk bears a splash of color to represent the Grand Prix location, such as pink and blue for Miami. A bold 'V' in a black-and-white checkerboard pattern on the front is a nod to the finish line, echoing the brand's Damier check design.
With this partnership, Louis Vuitton cements its status as a leader in blending innovation and artisanal craftsmanship at the intersection of the automotive and luxury worlds.
