Margot robbie dances to kylie minogue's 'come into my world' in a chanel revival
Margot Robbie, the Australian actress known for her versatility in films like 'Barbie' and 'Wuthering Heights,' has reconnected with Australian pop royalty Kylie Minogue for a new Chanel campaign.
A full circle moment
The campaign, showcasing the iconic Chanel 25 handbag, reunites Robbie with director Michel Gondry, who previously worked with Minogue on the 2001 music video for 'Come Into My World.' The video's in-camera trickery and kinetic energy are recreated in the new campaign, which also features a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo by Minogue.
For Robbie, the project holds personal significance. Her first concert was Minogue's 2001 'Fever' tour in Sydney, and 'Come Into My World' was one of the standout songs. In an E! News interview years ago, Minogue even expressed a desire to have Robbie portray her in a biopic, with Minogue praising Robbie's ability to take on any role.

A match made in heaven
The collaboration between the two Australians, united by their shared love for music and fashion, resulted in a breezily collaborative shoot. 'It's like a dream come true,' Gondry told Vogue. 'I've been dreaming about Kylie for 25 years, so I finally found a way to see her again.'
Robbie, meanwhile, praised Gondry's work, citing his film 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' as a favorite. When asked what song she and Minogue would sing at a karaoke night, Robbie suggested 'The Horses' by Daryl Braithwaite, an unofficial Australian anthem.

A handbag for all occasions
As for the Chanel 25 handbag, Robbie loves its versatility. 'I can just squeeze so much stuff in it, but it still looks chic,' she said. 'I feel like I could go to work and feel like I could go out to dinner and I could keep my same handbag.'
In the interview, Robbie also discussed her favorite costumes from 'Wuthering Heights' and working with Chanel on the 'Barbie' film. When asked about her favorite film of the year, she recommended 'Pillion,' praising its unexpected twists and turns.
