Borrallo, who has been caring for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis since they were infants, was awarded the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) at an investiture ceremony in Windsor.

The prestigious honor, decided upon by the royal couple alone, recognizes Borrallo's dedicated service to the Wales Family and, by extension, the British monarchy.

What makes this recognition even more noteworthy is the effort made to maintain Borrallo's privacy. Unlike other recipients of the award at the same ceremony, she was not photographed or videotaped.

Borrallo, a graduate of the prestigious Norland College, has only been publicly spotted on rare occasions. Sources close to the Family describe her as a loving, yet firm, caregiver who has earned the children's affection.
