Us destroyers transit hormuz under fire, iran destroyed in response
The United States has flexed its naval muscle in the Strait of Hormuz, with three destroyers successfully transiting the strategic waterway under attack from Iranian forces.

Us warships emerge unscathed from iranian onslaught
Pentagon officials confirmed the vessels, part of the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, faced a barrage of missiles and drone strikes as they sailed through the narrow passage connecting the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman.
According to Defense Department sources, the Iranian forces, including fast attack craft and unmanned aerial vehicles, launched a coordinated assault on the US warships. However, the American vessels, each outfitted with sophisticated anti-missile defenses, emerged largely unscathed.
While the US destroyers sustained no significant damage, the Iranian attackers suffered heavy losses. Pentagon officials reported multiple Iranian fast attack craft were sunk, while several drones were shot down or forced to crash into the sea.
The incident marks the latest escalation in the long-standing rivalry between Washington and Tehran, with both sides vowing further retaliation if provocations continue.
